Cliente en un VRF hablando OSPF

Este escenario es un poco complejo pero vamos a explicarlo. Imaginemos que tenemos 2 routers (R1 y R2) que brindan transporte a R3 y R4. Para que ambos routers se comuniquen deben hacerlo a traves del protocolo de enrrutamiento OSPF. Pero hay un problema, R3 esta configurado en la interfaz que habla con R1 en el VRF okidoki. Y de igual modo R1 recibe el trafico de R3 en el VRF good para posteriormente pasar el trafico en el mismo VRF a R4.

El problema esta en que si R3 esta en un VRF y configuramos L3VPN normal con OSPF, por default R3 no va a recibir las rutas de okidoki porque el trafico esta siendo recibido en R3 en un VRF y el bloqueado porque el down-bit y domain-tag estan filtrados.

Por esa razon, la forma de resolver esto es de 2 maneras:
  • Sham-Link
  • Capability vrf-lite
En este ejemplo mostramos como hacerlo con Sham-link pero para aplicar la misma configuracion en el router R3 sin sham-link, y asi recibir las rutas solamente debemos escribir el siguiente comando dentro del
proceso de configuracion de OSPF capability VRF-Lite.

Configuracion de BGP con as-path prepend

Este caso es muy comun en ISP y sirve como una guia practica para orientar a los ingenieros de redes IP en el anuncio de sus rangos en la red de Internet.

En este laboratorio veremos la aplicacion de as-path prepend para darle mayor prioridad a un grupo de rangos de IP por R1 y otros rangos de IP por R2.

De este maneraconoceremos la aplicacion del atributo as-path, local-preference en BGP.

Cómo activar iCloud en tu iPhone, iPad o iPod Touch

¿Qué es iCloud?

El nombre del nuevo servico de Apple que te permite almacenar tu música, fotos, aplicaciones, calendarios, documentos y mucho más, en los servidores de Apple, algo parecido a lo que hace Dropbox, pero tiene algo muy atractivo e interesante que después de subir un archivo a iCloud, este archivo se va a descargar automáticamente de forma inalámbrica a todos tus dispositivos (Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, etc.), además de todo es un servicio que puedes suar gratis, Sin duda con esto Apple no está haciendo más fácil de administrar nuestro contenido haciendo que esté disponible en todos nuestros dispositivos sin que tengamos que hacer nada nosotros.

Pues bien, esta novedad de iCloud estará completamente disponible hasta la salida de iOS 5, presentado ayer, pero que saldrá hasta finales de otoño (noviembre o diciembre), pero por el momento ya puedes activar 2 servicios de iCloud en tu dispositivo con iOS, estos servicios son Aplicaciones y Libros y estos son los pasos a seguir:

  1. Desde tu dispositivo con iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) entra a Ajustes -> Store ahí vas a ver una nueva pantalla como la siguiente:



  1. Pues bien esto no podía ser más fácil, tan solo tienes que activar el servicio que desees, en mi caso yo activé Aplicaciones y Libros
  1. Finalmente tienes una opción llamada Móvil, si activas esa opción tu dispositivo descargará contenido automáticamente usando la red de telefonía móvil, aquñi debes tener cuidado ya que si no tienes un plan de datos ilimitado los costos por descargar grandes cantidades de datos se pueden incrementar en tu factura
El servicio de Aplicaciones de iCloud consiste en que si tu descargas una aplicación desde tu iPhone, esta aplicación automáticamente se va a agregar a tu iPad y a iTunes sin que tengas que conectar el dispositivo para sincornizarlo, lo mismo sucede con el servicio de Libros.
